Castelo Cottages II was a delightful experience. The cottage, halfway up the hill to the Castle, was beautifully presented and had a charming, authentic feel. The interior was great, with rock formations interspersed into the walls. The bed was comfortable, and despite the heat, it remained cool. The welcoming gift of fresh fruits, bread, quail eggs, wine. The cottage also had a second toilet downstairs, and the wifi worked well. a wonderful stay in a picturesque location.

The shower in the cottage is a bit small and resulted in some water on the floor during use.

I had a lovely stay in a fascinating village. The authentic stone cottage at Castelo Cottages II was cute and immaculately clean. I felt right at home with the bread and wine that were left for me. The location was perfect for exploring the old castle and taking in the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this place.

The village and the surrounding area were absolutely stunning and made for a truly amazing experience. the cottage itself was beautifully appointed, with rustic charm and tasteful decor that added to the rural cottage theme. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh fruits, bread, eggs, and wine as a delightful welcome gift. the location of the cottage halfway up the hill provided easy access to the castle and other attractions, creating a truly authentic feeling experience.

Parking in the town was difficult to find, and we had to walk uphill for about 10 minutes from the parking area to the cottage. communication with the owner was a bit challenging, as we faced difficulties both during arrival and afterwards when requesting an invoice.

The value for money was great and the room was beautifully presented, with a unique rock formation integrated into the walls. The location was perfect, situated halfway up the hill to the castle in a stunning village. The staff treated us warmly and even provided a thoughtful welcome gift.

Fabulous hosts who left us breakfast and eggs from their farm. Perfect for hiking and cycling. No pets or smoking on site. Free wi-fi, off-site car park, electric kettle, cookware/ kitchen utensils.
